DriveCon™ by WaterPave is a specially-formulated permeable concrete mixture that is suitable for vehicular traffic. Available to appropriately-trained concreters, landscapers and builders, DriveCon™ can be used in driveways and parking bays, car parks, lane ways, footpaths, crossovers – wherever a permeable but trafficable surface is required. As strong as regular concrete, DriveCon™ can be used as a standalone product, or to complement exposed aggregate or plain/coloured regular concrete.
The DriveCon™ permeable concrete system consists of a single-pour method. Unlike “no-fines” concrete which has very little strength, DriveCon™ is made up of specialised binders and fine aggregates mixed together to form a strong, trafficable, rigid paving system. The result is a flat, smooth finish allowing the water to pass through, reducing the effects of flooding and slowly returning the much-needed rainwater back to the water table. DriveCon™ is smooth enough to be painted after curing. Line-marking, cats eye reflectors, bollards and wheel stops can be installed where necessary for roadways, ROWs, car parks and most commercial or civil applications where permeability is required.
Our DriveCon™ system is the most efficient permeable system on the market, thus making it the most cost-effective. The DriveCon™ system can be installed on the smallest of areas to large commercial and civil applications. A specialised coloured sealer and a border to frame the paving may be added to any project to enhance the appearance of the end result.
